CARL SHAW
Carl is a true one player one club character. Since joining BP in 1995, he has played over 350 games and amassed over 200 goals, for BP, AFC Neath and now Neath, including 48 in one season! During the season 2004/05 he had a spell with Port Talbot in the WPL but remained as a dual registered player with AFC Neath and still managed to finish as top goalscorer at the club!
Following the merger of 2005 he played in the Championship winning season of 2006/07 which saw the club elevated into the Welsh Premier League and he scored his first goal for the club at this level against Llangefni Town on 15th September 2007.
Carl has been a great servant to the club and became the first player to be entered into the club’s Hall of Fame at the awards night in 2008.

CLAYTON BLACKMORE
Clayton was born in Neath on the 23rd September 1964. He grew up watching his father playing for BP Llandarcy (part of our History following the merger in 2005). He went onto make 251 appearances for Man Utd and 66 for Middlesborough in the Premier League. During this time he was also capped by Wales 39 times.
In February 2001 he signed for Bangor City in the Welsh Premier League, making over 170 appearances and managing them for a season. On leaving Bangor and after a brief spell in charge of Porthmadog, Clayton signed for his hometown club Neath in January 2008, where he made an instant impression with his knowledge and experience.
Of all the teams and International experience that Clayt has gained he will always be proud that he finished his career with Neath, where he had his first experience of watching football.

ANDREW HILL
Andy had a decent career as a youngster, playing for Wales Under 18’s and winning the Welsh Youth Cup. He then went onto make over 90 appearances for Llanelli. including captaining them for a season. In 2002 he teamed up with Skewen as captain.
In the next 5 years he played a big part in an unpredented rise through the leagues and into the Welsh Premier League with Skewen and following the merger Neath.
He has shown an unbelievable amount of loyalty and has been approached by many other clubs during this time.
He is Neath’s leading goalcorer in the WPL and has made over 250 appearances for the club, scoring the club’s first ever goal in the WPL at Porthmadog on the 18th August 2007.
