Neaths Chris Jones wins young player of the year award.

We are pleased to announce that Chris Jones has won the Principality Welsh Premier League Young Player of the Season award.
The award was established at the end of the 2007/08 season and the nominees are chosen by the league managers. Previous winners include our very own goalkeeper Lee Idzi, who won the award while playing for Haverfordwest.
Chris scooped the Young Player of the Year Award, which was collected by his father, as the ex-Grimsby flyer is currently enjoying a short holiday before the Eagles' European campaign begins. Jones finished ahead of Danny Holmes and Kai Edwards for the award.
Chris has been in great form all season and has managed to rack up an impressive goal tally, putting 6 in the back of the net this year. This excellent form has earned Chris some well-deserved recognition including multiple ‘player of the month awards’ and a new 2 year contract with the Eagles.
